Oh Mountains of Mecca, what can you say

Of the day that Abraham passed your way

And He was instructed by God to build

A House of peace where people will pray

And they will come on every lean camel and out of every ravine

For the purpose of praising Allah, to glorify Allah

Oh Mountains of Mecca, what can you tell

Of the day when stones from the sky fell
De la journée où les pierres du ciel tombèrent
Destroying an army determined to break
Détruire une armée déterminée à briser
The House of Allah that Abraham built
La Maison d'Allah que Abraham y éleva
Oh Mountains of Mecca, how was the dawn
Oh montagnes de la Mecque, comment l'aube
On the day that my Prophet Muhammad was born
Le jour où mon Prophète Muhammad est né
How did it feel knowing he was to be, the last and most beloved of all
Qu'avez-vous ressenti en sachant qu'il devait être, le dernier et le plus aimé de tous
Rasul of Allah, Nabi of Allah
Rasul d'Allah, Nabi d'Allah
Oh Mountains of Mecca, you were there
Oh montagnes de la Mecque, vous y étiez
When the Prophet Muhammad climbed down in despair
Quand le prophète Mahomet est monté dans le désespoir
Engraved in his heart were the words of his Lord
Gravée dans son cœur étaient les paroles de son Seigneur
To all of mankind this was his call
Pour l'ensemble de l'humanité c'était son appel
La illaha illAllah, Muhammad-u-Rasullullah
La illaha illa Allah, Muhammad-u-Rasullullah
Oh people praise only Allah, Glorify Allah
Oh gens louent seulement Allah, Allah Glorifie
Oh Mountains of Mecca, how did you mourn
Oh montagnes de la Mecque, comment avez-vous pleurez
On the day that the beloved returned to his Lord
Le jour que le bien-aimé est retourné à son Seigneur
And up till the last breath escaped from his lips
Et jusqu'à son dernier souffle s'échappa de ses lèvres
He prayed that his Ummah would find success
Il a prié pour que sa Ummah serait trouver le succès
Oh Mountains of Mecca how will it feel
Oh montagnes de la Mecque comment peut-elle se sentir
When the earth shall quake and tremble with fear
Quand la terre tremblera et trembler de peur
And we shall be gathered together to stand
Et nous serons réunis pour tenir
In the court of Allah with our deeds at hand
Dans la cour d'Allah avec nos actes à portée de main
Oh how we pray that on that day, we'll be with those to whom Allah will say
Oh combien nous prions pour que ce jour-là, nous serons avec ceux à qui Allah dira:
Peace be with you, I am pleased with you
Que la paix soit avec vous, je suis heureux de vous
Oh Mountains of Mecca, Bear witness that I
Oh montagnes de la Mecque, Soyez témoins que je
To the oneness of Allah do I testify
Pour l'unicité d'Allah puis-je témoigner
For all that He's given me, How can I deny
Pour tout ce qu'il m'a donné, Comment puis-je nier
My purpose in life should be only to cry
Mon but dans la vie ne devrait être que de pleurer
La illaha illAllah, Muhammad-u-Rasullullah

There is no god but Allah, Muhammad's His Messenger
Il n'y a pas de dieu qu'Allah, Mahomet est Son messager
