Amid the confusion, the chaos and the pain
Dans la confusion, le chaos et la douleur
A man emerged and Muhammad was his name
Un homme est apparu et Muhammad est son nom
And walking with nothing but Allah as his aid
Et la marche avec rien, mais Allah comme son aide
And the mark of a prophet between his shoulder blades
Et la marque d'un prophète entre ses omoplates
In a cave in mount hira, the revelation came
Dans une grotte, le mont Hira, la révélation est venue
Read o Muhammad, read in Allah's name
Lire o Muhammad, lisez au nom d'Allah
May the blessings of Allah be on al-mustafaa (the selected one)
Que les bénédictions d'Allah soient sur al-mustafaa (celle qui est sélectionnée)
None besides him could have been al-mujtabaa (the chosen one)
Aucun dehors de Lui aurait pu être al-mujtabaa (celle choisie)
Muhammad, peace be upon his soul
Muhammad, que la paix soit sur son âme
The greatest of prophets, Islam was his only goal
Le plus grand des prophètes, l'Islam était son seul but
Muhammad, salla Allahu ' alayhi wa sallam
Muhammad, salla Allahou 'alayhi wa sallam
From among all the prophets, Muhammad was the last
Parmi tous les prophètes, Mohammed était le dernier
As his was a mission of the greatest task
Comme son s'agissait d'une mission de la plus grande tâche
There was only moral degeneration
Il n'y avait qu'une dégénérescence morale
People clung to idol adoration
Les gens s'accrochaient à l'idole de l'adoration
For all nations, he was al-mukhtaar (the preferred one)
Pour toutes les nations, il était al-Mukhtar (la préférée)
So was he praised by Allah, al-ghaffaar
Ainsi at-il été salué par Allah, al-Ghaffar
The bearer of glad tidings, al-basheer
Le porteur de la bonne nouvelle, Al-Basheer
Leading into light, as-seeraj-al-muneer (lamp of Radiance)
Qui mène à la lumière, comme seeraj-al-muneer (lampe of Radiance)
In handling the wicked, he had the best of skill
Dans le traitement des méchants, il a eu le meilleur des compétences
He pacified with tolerance and goodwill
Il pacifié avec la tolérance et la bonne volonté
The best of morals he aimed to attain
Le meilleur de la morale, il vise à atteindre
All he accomplished through suffering and pain
Tout ce qu'il accompli par la souffrance et la douleur
Reviving imaan as almuthakkir (the reminder)
Relancer imaan que almuthakkir (le rappel)
He is known in the qur'aan as al-mud-dath-thir (covered up)
Il est connu dans le Coran al-boue Dath-treize (couvert)
Only he was given the honour of miraaj
Seulement, il a eu l'honneur de miraaj
Unique was this glory to Muhammad asseeraj (the lamp)
Unique était cette gloire à Muhammad asseeraj (la lampe)
He was ad daee ill Allah hil azheem
Il était malade ad DAEE Allah hil azheem
All hadi elaa seerauteem mustakeem
Tout hadi elaa seerauteem mustakeem
His mission complete, his held in great esteem
Sa mission terminée, sa tenue en grande estime
Allah praised him as bil-khuluqil azeem
Allah l'a salué comme bil-khuluqil azeem
May the blessings of Allah be on mustafaa
Que les bénédictions d'Allah soient sur mustafaa
None besides him could have been al-mujtabaa
Aucun dehors de Lui aurait pu être al-mujtabaa
So perfect were his morals, so justly did he rule
Tellement parfait ont été ses mœurs, si justement il ne se prononcer
Darkness had vanished and the word was full of noor
Ténèbres avait disparu et le mot était plein de noor
